Lagoon Construction
Clair Lagon needs a minimum of 1/2 acre to construct a lagoon.
The smallest lagoon that Clair Lagon constructs is 5,000 sqft. This size provides 3,000 sqft of swimming area and 2,000 sqft for the beach and filtration system.
There is no limit to how large the lagoon can be, the only restriction is land space. Our lagoons are built with a low slope so the larger the lagoon, the more land that will be needed to maintain the appropriate grade.
There is no limit to the depth of the lagoon, however, we find that most of our clientele have chosen to go around waist or chest depth. This depth is typically the most used depth when you visit the beach for swimming with small children and activities like frisbee or throwing a football.

Lagoon Pricing
Clair Lagon's lagoons start at $150,000.
Our pricing includes construction of the lagoon itself, perimeter fencing, waterfall, a basic landscaping package and a foot bath.
While our basic package includes landscaping, many of our clients want to add additional landscaping, hardscapes, outdoor kitchens, tiki huts, cabanas or bars. We can construct all of these items for you, however there is an additional charge for each. Our team of experts will work with you to determine what additional amenities you would like to add during the construction process and can even break these into additional phases for future enhancements.
Lagoon Maintenance and Cost to Operate
To keep your lagoon in pristine condition, we recommend cleaning the filters in the filtration area weekly. Our filters are reuseable, and we provide two sets allowing you to keep the system functioning even while cleaning. Filters simply need to be sprayed off. Larger debris will collect in the prefilter tank and can simply be scooped out with a pool net. The pond itself requires raking of the sand to pull back sand that has shifted, the frequency will depend on usage.
Clair Lagon's filtration system and UV lighting does the hard work of maintaining the lagoon. Our filtration system will remove all debris, oils, lotions, and waste from the lagoon while the UV light sanitizes the water to kill off any contaminates such as viruses and bacteria.
